Fogg Behavior Model.excalidraw.svg]] The Fogg Behavior Model shows that three elements must converge at the same moment for a behavior to occur: Motivation, Ability, and a Prompt. When a behavior does not occur, at least one of those three elements is missing. - **M** – sufficient motivation - **A** – ability to perform a certain action - **P** – a prompt to action Therefore, for a clear prompt to be effective, the user should be motivated enough and should be able to perform the action with minimal effect. What makes a good prompt? It isn’t a good idea to make a prompt that is based on time like (e.g. I’ll run at 8PM) rather it is better to anchor it with an existing habit (e.g. I’ll run after dinner) ## References - https://behaviormodel.org/
